Paul John Edited, 46 %

Review #17
Not as known as Amrut when the talk falls upon Indian whisky, but definitely not a padawan! This is a full blown Jedi! As you might have noticed, I like this one…

The smell is what I would call gentle peat. Some fruits, mostly apricot, and some hints of honey. The taste is very peaty, but still it feels like gentle peat. Very dried fruit appears without it being the classic sherry dried fruit taste.

The finish is extremely smooth, and the peat and fruit is a bit lighter. The only minus here is that it dies to fast. I would do anything to try this as cask strength! That would make the finish superb. I will give this whisky 89/100 (21/23/22/23).
