This is a blend of no more than 10 barrels at the age
around 4 to 5 years. A lot of alcohol in the smell at first. Classic bourbon
influence. Vanilla, honey and light floral notes in the end. If you use water,
the sweetness gets more caramelized.
Much more is going on in the taste. A vague oak note,
some barley and honey sweetness. It continuous to develop in the finish with
more and different wood notes and stays for quite a while.
Fine balance and complexity, and a whisky that starts
a bit slow but just gets better and better. I will give this 88/100
(21/22/23/22).
