Paul John Classic Single Cask (cask 1844), 60,5 %

A special bottling for the Danish market. The smell is fruity like berries. Honey and vanilla. Slightly you sense some soap notes and a bit of mint or eucalyptus.

The taste is very powerful but not too much. Some licorice, light oak and again some faint soap. You also get some light marzipan sweetness in the background. The finish is spicy with nutty sweetness. It just stays in the mouth!

The balance is a bit strange but, yet funny! Pretty complex and a different type of Paul John. I will give this 91/100 (22/23/23/23).
