This is a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. The smell
is great. Filled with lemongrass, pears, dates, honey and slightly minty. A
great mix of the bourbon and sherry influence.
The taste is dark and a bit flat at first. There is very
heavy wood influence as well. The finish is long with dark dried fruits and
fruity sweetness.
The balance is a bit off due to the taste. Otherwise
it is a great complex whisky. The smell and finish is very good, and because of
that I will give this 89/100 (23/21/23/22).
