This Single Grain whisky is called ”Body surfing at
Bondi Beach” and comes from a Refill Hogshead. There were made 240 bottles. A
lot of alcohol on the nose.
Give it some time to settle and some sugars and
light marzipan comes forward.
In the taste sugars, wood, coffee, chocolate and more
comes rushing in. Almost like it doesn’t know what it wants. The finish is a
bit more “well put together”, but with the same palate. Does that make sense?
Give it time to settle and with some water it becomes
more calm, balanced and composed. I will rate this 84/100 (20/21/22/21).
