From cask 6279 comes 173 bottles. This is bottle number
94. Sweet vanilla and gentle peat pampers your nose. Give it some minutes and
it opens up.
The taste is very powerful at first, but turns into
light tasty peat. Sweet honey and burned oak in the finish. Some water (I ended
up with plenty) really works for this whisky!
The balance is fine, and I just keep finding new
things in this whisky. After giving it some time you will find new things and if
you add water you will find something else. I will rate this 91/100 (22/23/23/23).
