This is the only standard expression from Springbank which is made
entirely from sherry casks. There are a lot of tannins in the smell accompanied
with dried fruits, oak, salt, light peat and just a hint of fresh lemons.
Lots of dried fruits in the taste. Some oak and
tannins again. The dried fruits gets more dominant in the finish. This is a
nice, smooth, long finish!
If you like Springbank and sherry influence, this is
something you don´t want to miss. Especially the finish is worth mentioning. I
will rate this 90/100 (22/22/23/23).
