This is
batch 49 of this Aberlour sherry-monster! Lots of dried fruits and hints of
syrup and fruity sweetness. Do not get your nose too close, because you might
lose all your nose hair.
What a
blast! First a lot of alcohol and then a load of dried fruits in the taste. The
sweetness from the dried fruits stays in the finish and leaves you with a warm
and pleasant feeling in the mouth.
There is no
shame in adding water to this. I find that a little water will open up the
smell, but give it a couple of minutes to open up the taste as well. A real
sherry-monster like it is supposed to. I will rate this 89/100 (22/22/23/22).
