Linkwood 10 yo (2004), SMWS 39.108, 61,7 %

Review #176
This whisky is called “Baked Alaska” and comes from a refill barrel. Only 229 bottles were made. The smell is full of fruit, marzipan and a hint of honey. It is very pleasant.

It feels very young but it helps with water, so don’t be cheap with the H2O with this one. It is fruity, but on the light side in the taste. Lots of burned sugar in the finish.

It is a really good light fresh fruity whisky that would have been very good if it have had a couple of years more in the cask. I will give this 87/100 (22/21/22/22).
