This is a
mix of ex bourbon casks and ex Oloroso sherry casks. Classic sherry notes but
with a bit darker touch present. It smells like sitting in an old leather chair
in an old study.
The taste
is very great and very rich and full-bodied. It fills your mouth, but all of a sudden,
it is gone. The finish is over before it starts, and it feels like you have
been drinking a whisky watered down way too much.
It is so
unfortunate that the finish is over so fast, because this whisky has a huge
potential. I would love to try this cask strength! I will rate this 88/100
(22/23/21/22).
