Edradour 10 yo, The Distillery Edition, 40 %

Review #233
It has a very classic Highland smell. A bit rough with hay and grass and a hint of raisins. Some notes of the oak influence and vanilla in the far background.

The taste is actually very sweet at first. I wasn’t expecting that after the notes in the smell. Some hints of some dried fruits as well, but nothing too much. It actually stays for quite a bit in the finish, but due to the low ABV it is fast becoming a bit watery.

I think it varies too much in the different stages, and on top of that, the low ABV makes it very forgettable. Some of the fruity notes saves the impression a bit, but again, it is very vague. I will give this 80/100 (19/21/20/20).
