This whisky is named ”The happy camping holiday” and comes from a refill ex-bourbon barrel. 202 bottles were made. It has been stored next to the cask used for SMWS 3.230. Light peat and citrus in the smell. Very gentle to the nose. Some old flower water and light soap notes as well.

Too much soap in the taste for me. Where does it come from, and why choose this for a single cask? I can´t focus…

Normally I love Bowmore, but this is just too strange for me. I have encountered this soapy notes before in Bowmore, and I don’t think it suits the classic peaty harbor taste. I will rate this 81/100 (20/20/21/20).
