Douglas Laing comes this single cask with cask number DL9076 from the series
“Old Malt Cask”. Only 262 bottles were made from this refill hogshead. Sweet
vanilla and light citrus in the smell. Some fine oak notes as well.
The oak is
a bit more dominant in the taste and the citrus isn’t hiding anymore. The oak
balance great between the taste and the finish where it comes more forward.
Very light
oak in this OMC from Tamdhu. The charing of this cask doesn’t give much taste,
and I would guess that it is a quite used cask. It doesn’t lack in flavors
though! I will give this 84/100 (21/21/22/20).
