Review #433 |
This single
cask is a part of the series “A Whisky Anthology”. It is a Rum cask and only
221 bottles were made. The sweetness is the first thing that hits your nose.
After the initial sweetness some darker notes appear. Dates and vanilla from
the cask in the end.
More oak
influence in the taste. The colour is pale but the taste is dark. Raisins,
dried apricots, burned brown sugar and honey. The sweetness carries out in the
finish but is still accompanied with some dried fruits. Compared to the taste,
it is now the other way around with the sugary notes being dominant.
