Tipperary, Watershed, 47%

Review #580
Each batch of the Watershed is put together by six first-fill Bourbon casks. Fresh light white fruits in the smell. A dash of pineapple before the vanilla comes rushing in. It is very light, but the alcohol gives a little burn to the nose.

Exotic white fruits comes rushing in at first in the taste. Pineapple again, pears and just a hint of peach. Loads of vanilla and fresh apricot. The vanilla is very dominant in the finish. Some sweet raisins and wood spices comes forward as well.

I love that they don’t go all the way down to 40% when they bottle their whiskey. A big thumbs up for that! A fine dram, maybe not my favourite, but a lot of things is going on, so that is interesting. I will give this 81/100 (19/20/21/21).
